Egremni Beach

About

A wild stretch of more than two kilometres of white pebbles at the foot of a towering cliff, with some of the most spectacular water in the Mediterranean. After the 2015 landslide it was reachable only by sea for years; since 2021 you can walk down again, but expect a fifteen-minute walk from the parking plus a metal staircase of around four hundred steps. The descent is demanding and the climb back even more so, so bring sturdy shoes, water and time. To enjoy it without the effort, the boat from Vasiliki or Nidri is the way to go (it often stops at Porto Katsiki too).
