WonderfuLefkada is a free tourist guide to the island of Lefkada. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

Data we collect

We do not require an account to browse the guide. When you change language we save your preference in your browser's local storage. When you click an affiliate or partner link we log an anonymous click event (partner, language, optional place id) so we can understand which suggestions are useful — no personal identifiers are stored.

Cookies & local storage

We use a small number of essential cookies and local storage entries for language preference and to remember that you have dismissed the cookie notice. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set by us.

Third-party services

Some features rely on third parties that may receive your IP address and basic request information when their content loads on this page:

• OpenStreetMap — openstreetmap.org/copyright. Map tiles and base map data are provided by the OpenStreetMap community.
• Google — If Google services (such as Google Maps or Google Places) are shown on the site in the future, their content will carry the required Google attribution and Google's own privacy policy will apply to that content.
• Open-Meteo — The weather widget queries the free Open-Meteo forecast API for Lefkada's coordinates.
• Booking.com, GetYourGuide, DiscoverCars, Ferryhopper, Skyscanner — Affiliate links open on the partner's own site, where their privacy policy applies. We may earn a commission on bookings.

Your rights

Under the EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct or erase any personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. Because we do not store personal identifiers, most requests are satisfied by clearing your browser's local storage.
