Aktion National Airport (PVK), set between Preveza and the island, is the natural gateway to Lefkada. In summer it fills with direct charter and low-cost flights from across Europe; outside the season the connections thin out and a stop in Athens is often the only option. From the terminal it is a short hop south to the floating bridge and onto the island.
